Public Address Announcer

Required: Resume, voice sample and knowledge of Ultimate

Compensation: Paid per game

 

Our PA announcer will be responsible for informing the crowd on a variety of events. This position will be accountable for announcing each score (who assisted and who scored), explaining foul calls to the fans, reading sponsorship plugs, engaging the crowd and describing the intermission shows. All of the aforementioned tasks must be performed with enthusiasm and cheerfulness without any subtleties of negativity. Applicant is expected to remain positive when speaking into the microphone and avoid using any language that could be deemed inappropriate

 

Assistant Media Producer/Internship – Unpaid

Required: Resume and 7 Free Weekends from April-August 2017

Preferred: Motivation and desire to work in sports and high aptitude with technologies

If you are looking to build or begin a career in the sports or media industry, apply for the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds assistant media producer position today. As an assistant media producer, you will work alongside Thunderbirds’ film crew during all home games operating cameras, loading graphics for the live-stream, and helping with general set-up of a full live-streamed production of an ultimate-disc game. Game Day Internship – Unpaid

If you are looking to build or begin a career in the sports industry, start with the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds! We will be looking for a game day crew that will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as throwing merchandise/hotdogs into the stands, selling tickets at the gate, selling 50/50 raffle tickets and more. This is a great opportunity to bolster the resume and get some important sport related experience. Must be committed to all seven home games.
